RV’s Full Facility Campground was established in 1996. Co-owner Rick Van Donsler was in the middle of his 40-year career as the Electrician for the Knoxville Raceway / Marion Country Fairgrounds when he witnessed the need for additional modernized camping that would feature individual sewer drains and 50 Amp electrical service. Since 1996, we have grown into over 10 acres of year-round Full Facility camping.

The busiest time of the year is by far the 360 and 410 Sprint Car Nationals which is traditionally held the 2nd week of August. During this time, we sell out to full capacity. For this event, we require a reservation which is made by sending an application prior to arrival. Please see link to do so!

With the exception of National Race weeks, we usually can accommodate a paved pull through campsite to both camp and park your vehicle. We are conveniently located adjacent to Highway 14 on the North edge of Knoxville and only a seven minute walk from the Knoxville Raceway.

At our facility, you can choose to stay one night or the entire year as we have daily, weekly and monthly rates.
